ÖZET

Amaç:

Gebelikte D vitamini eksikliği yaygın olup gebeler dışındaki hasta popülasyonlarında psikolojik belirtilerle ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla gebelerde depresyon, anksiyete ve uyku kalitesi ile D vitamini eksikliği arasındaki ilişkiyi değerlendirmek amaçlandı.

Yöntemler:

Bu prospektif ve kesitsel çalışmada 153 gebenin demografik, gebelik ve laboratuvar verileri elde edilip, katılımcılar düşük (<20 ng/mL) ve normal (≥20 ng/mL) serum 25 (OH) vitamin düzeylerine göre 2 gruba ayrıldı. Gebeler, Beck depresyon ölçeği (BDÖ) ve Beck anksiyete ölçeği (BAÖ) kullanılarak depresyon ve anksiyete belirtileri açısından tarandı. Uyku kalitesini araştırmak için Pittsburgh uyku kalitesi indeksi (PUKİ) uygulandı. Gruplar istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırıldı.

Bulgular:

D vitamini düzeyi düşük olan hastalarda BDÖ, BAÖ ve PUKİ skorları anlamlı olarak yüksekti. D vitamini eksik olan grupta gebelerin %22,2’sinde depresyon belirtileri, %37,8’inde ise orta-şiddetli anksiyete belirtileri vardı.

Sonuç:

Gebelikte depresyon, anksiyete ve uyku bozukluğu D vitamini eksikliği ile ilişkilidir. Bu bakımdan bu çalışma, gebe kadınlarda D vitamini eksikliği taramasının önemini vurgulamaktadır.
