ABSTRACT

Foot drop is often seen as a result of lumbar disc herniation or entrapment neuropathies. Parasagittal cranial rarely affecting the region; isolated head trauma, cerebral space-occupying lesion or demyelinating disease may develop depending on the drop foot. Plant-induced spastic drop foot, hyperreflexia, pathological reflex, headache has been accompanied by other clinical and neurological findings. Careful clinical examination, radiological and electrophysical studies are important tools for the differential diagnosis. (JAREM 2013; 3: 112-5)
